So my conclusion is that this Remastered Trilogy is good only for newcomers and console only players. the immersion and overall "feel" of the game is so superior on the original versions.

After buying this remastered trilogy for Ps5, I went back to STEAM and downloaded the 2011 PC version of crysis 2 & 3 and had a total blast replaying those on my PC. Keep disc in drive then go to Xbox store and install crysis remastered. Crysis 2 has a brutal difference between the original & remasteded, being the original so much superior. The way to fix this is to unistall the disc version. Some textures were upgraded, new reflections, screen space shadows, there are a few upgrades, but the overall result is negative, this is like a downgrade of the original PC game. Play the single-player campaigns from legendary first-person shooters crysis, crysis 2, and crysis 3 in a great value all-in-one bundle. Since I wanted to replay this trilogy, I saw a lot of comparison videos on YouTube, and since they all highlight the new, more modern graphics features, I figured maybe will give it a shot on my ps5.
The three-game bundle will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and for PC, with the game playing even smoother on next gen PS5 and Xbox Series.
Crysis 3 and the Cryengine 3.5 did restore and improve a lot of these physics interactions that were previously cut. The remaster seems to be based on the Xbox 360/Ps3 console port which used the same engine as Crysis 2. But if you already experienced these games on a high-end PC back in the day, this is a downgrade for sure. The Crysis Remastered Trilogy features the single-player remasters of Crysis, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3, optimized in partnership with Saber Interactive for todays consoles and PC hardware. Crysis 2 and Cryengine 3.0 were all about accommodating consoles. If you don't have a high-end PC, this Remastered Trilogy is going to be a blast for you.
